One of us has been waiting patiently for quite some time. The days, weeks, and months must have felt like an eternity at times. Physical ailment coupled with the psychological stress of waiting out the what if would reduce some of us to a whining, self centered empty soul.
The person I am referring to has listened to me patiently. He has offered me sound advice and gently nudged me in the right direction. In all the conversations that we have had, he has never brought up the topic on his current condition. Some of his friends could only hear that his voice had weakend, but I could hear a strength in his words, the voice of reason.
That is why GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT!

Thanks PG for the thoughts and prayers. This will update those who may not be aware of my situation. I was diagnosed with liver disease a little over a year ago. After the usual denial phase I set about planning to cope with the upcoming sde effects. A journey started in Watertown with a side trip to Saranac Lake (A.M.C.) and I am now working with Strong Memorial in Rochester. A liver transplant is the only thing that will make me better and as PG posted the first stage in the wait culminated last week when I was put on the transplant list. Hope fully the call to go for a transplant wil come soon. I want to thank my many friends and family for the support that helped me through the dark days. I am especially indebted my significant other (I hate that word)for her never ending support and love, without that I don't know how I would have made it this far.
