More on that other place in a future post.
Today I had breakfast at the Chez. The place was a husslin and a busslin. I love the sounds of clattering silverware and the drone of conversation in the background. Top that off with the smell of breakfast foods and hot coffee................................Breakfast Nirvana!!!!!! I had a ham and cheese omlette; Fluffy, Cheesey and not dried out. Served with a choice of toast [no italian toast tho] and an endless supply of coffee. The service was fast and friendly. The bill was 7 and some small change. There are some breakfast places that charge almost 8 bucks for a plain cheese omlette. So, the Chez is a bargain with a bang for the buck$$

We too visited the Chez over the weekend. I had the best Belgian Waffle I have ever eaten covered with strawberries and whip cream. Mr. Crabby had a broccoli and cheese omelet that he wolfed down like there was no tomorrow. $14. for the two of us and he had more than we could eat. The service was fast, the food was quick and hot, and the place was packed! Definitely a must see!
ReplyDeleteI give it 5 forks...

The service at The is good except for the rudeness of the dark haired older waitress!
ReplyDeleteWhich dark haired older waitress might that be? So is the service good or not? Have you been to the chez before and had this waitress wait on you? Or did you just see her waiting on someone else and take a dislike to her?
