A comment From a Friend

"Thanks PG for the thoughts and prayers. This will update those who may not be aware of my situation. I was diagnosed with liver disease a little over a year ago. After the usual denial phase I set about planning to cope with the upcoming sde effects. A journey started in Watertown with a side trip to Saranac Lake (A.M.C.) and I am now working with Strong Memorial in Rochester. A liver transplant is the only thing that will make me better and as PG posted the first stage in the wait culminated last week when I was put on the transplant list. Hope fully the call to go for a transplant wil come soon. I want to thank my many friends and family for the support that helped me through the dark days. I am especially indebted my significant other (I hate that word)for her never ending support and love, without that I don't know how I would have made it this far.Again thanks to all who sent their prayers and thoughts, I'll try to keep you aware of my progress as we move through the next phase."

  2. Pat,

We often think back to the day when we were skiing at Whiteface and the child who became hung up on the chairlift with her mother only hanging on by her coat. You and several other of your rescue group made quick work of getting that child to safety. We can only hope that someone comes through and you receive your transplant soon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
